Apartment Management

Apartment Management is a personal decision. I hear complaining about managers, who have a thankless job interfacing with owners and tenants, twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.

I have usually managed my own properties. Management has two big components: first, handling people, and second, maintaining the property. Neither is rocket science, but it's a big job together. My philosophy sees owning investment real estate as a job, my job, and I'm willing to learn it and take responsibility for it.

But most people are busy with their career and family. If you live outside the area, you must have a local property manager, because you can't hop on a plane to come meet tenants. I'll suggest some managers for you to meet and consider in your own investments.
